This is probably the most personal
thing on this portfolio.
I can't remember when it all started, but my earliest memory is of being three years old, building a car from a wooden panel set in kindergarten. Then came LEGO, which lasted for a decade. I never cared much for the instructions and build things my own way and figure out how they worked.
That eventually led me to woodworking, and then to industrial design. Creating always felt natural to me. But somewhere early in design school, the obsession that once kept me awake at night turned into something I wanted to escape. So I quit and went in a completely different direction. I studied business, explored management, sales, and different environments, trying to find something else.
But design was always around. It was still there in the way I think, solve problems, and see things.
I was running away from myself to come back.
And that is what I can bring to your idea too.
Sometimes the right one is already there, it just needs to be found and refined.
